Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Payment

Payment in full must be made to guarantee your place. Confirmation of your payment will be sent to you by email. If you do not receive your receipt within 48 hours please let us know. Nobody will be admitted to the Doc Summit without a ticket. Each delegate will get a Pass at 'registration' during the festival which you are required to wear throughout the festival.

 

Refunds/Transfer of Tickets

If need to cancel you ticket purchase can get a full refund up until 30 days prior the first day of the Festival, after that we cannot offer refunds. Refunds will be paid back promptly. Alternatively, tickets are transferable to other people if you can find someone to replace you. We are happy to change the name on the ticket. Please allow 48 hours for this change to take place.

 

Monitoring Details

In future hope to secure funding we will be asked to provide details about our delegates. Thus we will collect ethnic, gender, age and disability forms you to complete as you purchase your ticket. We would appreciate your help in cooperating by completing these forms.

 

Video Taping/Audio Recording Release

All Documentary Summits are video and audio recorded by the organziers. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to have your likeness, image and voice recorded by the organizers to be used for promotional purposes only by the organizers and waive any and all type of fee for your appearance. This may be include, but is not limited to the organizer website, printed material, email promotions, DVD, audio recordings, testamonials, promotional videos, podcasts, video blogs and ebooks. This rights granted to the organizer is in perpitutiy throughout the universe.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A:
 If you need to cancel you can get a full refund up until 30 days prior the first day of the Summit. There will be a 10% admin fee for this. After that point we can no longer offer refunds. However, tickets are transferable.

 

Q. Okay, so I need to transfer my ticket to someone else, how do I do that?
A.
 Simply send us an email and tell us what you wish to do. We will need all the same information you provided when you purchased your ticket from the person whom you wish to transfer it to.

 

Q. Why don’t you have all your Speakers and Workshops posted yet?
A.
 We’re updating our website as we get speakers and workshops lined up. Keep checking back and you’ll see the list grow!

 

Q. I'm a student, is there a discount? 

A. Some schools will have discounted rates for individuals and some will have group booking rates for groups of 5+. Contact zee@guerillafilm.com to see what deal your school has made with us.

 

Speaker and Session Disclaimer

The Documentary Filmmakers Summit sets to secure agreements from each speaker and workshop leader prior to announcing their involvement and commitment to appear. However, one or more speakers may be unable to appear or may not arrive at their scheduled time for any number of reasons. The Doc Summit cannot be responsible if a speaker does not appear as scheduled. Additionally,The Documentary Filmmaker sessions and workshops may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time; and the Documentary Filmmaker Summit retains the right to change the content of any session at any time.
